Free Comic Book Day Wow, free??? Rochester Main Street and Jetpack Comics have teamed up to create a downtown event around this national celebration of the comic book arts. Come to Rochester and expect to see comic book characters walking the streets and inside store and restaurants. The Star Wars franchise will be all over downtown, so you can expect some Storm troopers, Jabba the Hut, Princess Leia, and other comic book characters! DATE: May 3rd (always on 1st Sat. of May) TIME: 9 am to 4 pm. This is the 6th year of Free Comic Book Day! So here’s the deal: · Prize pass-books will be handed out at Jetpack Comics and all participating shops! · Customers/visitors will have to give their names, addresses, and emails in order to get a Prize Pass. · Bring your Pass book to each shop listed below to receive a free comic book and to get your Pass-book stamped. · All complete Prize Pass-Books will be entered into a raffle and the 3 winners will get a prize. · Prizes will be : 1st place: An original piece of comic book art, by a nationally known artist. 2nd place: A Gift Basket with merchandise from participating stores 3rd place: Movie Tickets? – Not sure yet. WEAR YOUR JETPACK SHIRT on FCBD There is a limit to the amount of free stuff you can get at Jetpack Comics, but wear a Jetpack Comics shirt and you've earned the right to DOUBLE your booty load! That's right. If you proudly wear your Jetpack shirt (either design) you'll get to DOUBLE the amount of freebies and you get to use your coupons TWICE!
