The redevelopment of Hanson Street is under way! The City of Rochester has been working on the proposed streetscape design for Hanson Street, as part of the Master Plan. The concepts propose to develop a pedestrian oriented streetscape with continuous paths with the Downtown Greenbelt, through the choice and location of materials and use of traffic calming techniques. Hanson Street is home to the Rochester Historical Society, as well as many other historic buildings and this design celebrates our city's cultural heritage.

- Bumpout - an area downtown where merchants, visitors and residents can sit, eat, relax and enjoy the scenery with new tables, chairs & benches. Decorated with beautiful flowers. Will be picked up and stored for the winter.
