Organization Committee Mission Statement

The Outreach Committee works to inform the community on what Rochester Main Street

is, helping our Main Street Merchants gather the proper resources that they need to be successful, plan fundraisers to help with the organizations financial needs, and focus all committees on the mission to “make Rochester a destination and a source of pride.”

2008 Goals:

1. Pursue pledges that require corporate appeal and/or written applications

2. Actively recruit volunteers to help with Rochester Main Street events and committees

3. Circulate the quarterly newsletter to the community via email and 400 printed issues

4. Continue fundraising efforts to benefit Rochester Main Street

            a. Lodge @ Belmont

            b. Holiday Wreath Program

            c. Antique Auction

5. Secure sponsors for various events organized by
